World Class Gallerist & Owner
Dominic J. Taglialatella is a veteran fine art dealer, gallerist, advisor, and lecturer with more than five decades of experience in the international art market. Based in Palm Beach, Florida, he has spent his career working with private collectors and building relationships across some of the world’s leading art markets.
Know for founding Taglialatella Galleries, Mr. Taglialatella developed an international gallery presence spanning New York, Palm Beach, Paris, and Toronto. His career has encompassed Modern and Contemporary art, private sales, exhibitions, collection development, and advisory work with collectors in the United States and abroad.
His areas of expertise include European Modernism, Vincent van Gogh’s Dutch Period, the School of Paris, the postwar CoBrA movement, Nouveau Réalisme, and Pop Art. Career highlights include presenting a major exhibition devoted to Van Gogh’s Dutch-period work in New York and his involvement with the CoBrA Museum in the Netherlands.
In 2024, Taglialatella established Tella Fine Art in Palm Beach, creating a highly personal gallery environment shaped by decades of collecting, dealing, and studying art. At Tella, he continues to work directly with collectors as a fine art dealer and private art advisor, helping clients discover works and build collections with knowledge, confidence, and a strong sense of personal connection.
A longtime lecturer and educator, Taglialatella is also known for making art history and the art market accessible to a broad audience. Through Tella Fine Art, he continues a career centered on sharing knowledge, developing meaningful collector relationships, and connecting people with exceptional art.
ABOUT ELIZABETH
Partner & Sales Director
Elizabeth Hauptman, is Palm Beach Island resident with a lifelong passion and connection for fine art. Hauptman has built her career as a private art consultant, art dealer, and fine art professional, with experience working directly with collectors and within commercial gallery environments. Her background combines a multigenerational relationship with the arts, formal training in fine art and design, artist-studio experience, and a deep understanding of the Palm Beach collecting community.
She studied photography and fine art at Tabor Academy in Marion, Massachusetts, and later attended the Parsons School of Design in New York City. During her years in New York, she developed her own artistic practice in India ink, watercolor, oil, and photography while becoming immersed in the city’s contemporary art community.
Her New York art career included work with Maury Rogoff Public Relations in the fine art field. In the early 2000s, she managed the Harlem studio of artist Robert Berry, gaining firsthand experience in artist-studio management, the creative process, and the business of fine art.
Hauptman later lived in India while working with a nonprofit organization supporting educational and health initiatives for women and children in South India. Returning to Palm Beach, she established herself within the local art community as a private art consultant and dealer, developing relationships with collectors and working in the commercial fine art industry before joining Tella Fine Art.
Hauptman role at Tella Fine Art, focuses on private sales, collector relationships, business development, and expansion through connections in the Palm Beach art community. Combining art expertise with a strong emphasis on personal relationships, and thoughtful client service, to help collectors discover works that will have lasting meaning.
Community & Public Art
Hauptman also serves as Art Director for On My Watch West Palm Beach Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on creating opportunities for community art and expanding access to the arts in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach. She is also the Artistic Liaison, Artistic Director, and Facilitator for the 2026–2027 Clematis Street Mural Project featuring artist Matt Yandle.
More About Elizabeth Hauptman
Hauptman’s relationship with art began within her own family. Her great-grandfather was a well-known photographer in Massachusetts, while her grandfather, Gordon H. Wolfe, served as president of the New Bedford Whaling Museum and Heritage Association. Her grandmother was an interior designer and seamstress, and her mother was a painter who studied sculpture with José de Creeft, creator of the iconic Alice in Wonderland sculpture in New York City. Her brother, Michael Hauptman, is a New York-based photographer.
ABOUT RYAN
Director of Operations & Marketing
Ryan Cortes oversees the gallery’s day-to-day operations and the digital strategy connecting Tella with a growing audience of collectors and art enthusiasts.
With a background in business marketing and management from the University of Central Florida and Valencia College, Ryan brings a forward-thinking approach to the gallery’s growth and to the ways art is presented, discovered, and experienced. He works across exhibitions, artist projects, presentations, digital catalogs, marketing, email communications, and content, helping translate the gallery’s vision into the experiences and initiatives that reach collectors both inside the gallery and beyond its walls.
Ryan also oversees Tella Fine Art’s website, online platforms and social media, managing the presentation of artworks and artists as well as the sales inquiries and collector relationships that originate through the gallery’s digital channels. Working closely with Dominic Taglialatella and TFA’s artists, he is involved throughout the development of exhibitions, presentations, and gallery initiatives, with a particular focus on their execution and how they are communicated to the public.
At the center of his work is an interest in finding new ways to connect people with exceptional art. Ryan is particularly interested in expanding access to the gallery beyond the traditional gallery setting, introducing artists and their work to audiences who may not otherwise encounter them, and using digital platforms without losing the personal relationships and knowledge that define the collecting experience.
He also values working directly with the artists behind the art, helping translate their ideas, stories, and work into exhibitions, digital experiences, and communications that allow collectors to better understand what they are seeing and the people who created it.
More About Ryan
Ryan’s connection to Palm Beach and the world of craftsmanship began through Cortes of Palm Beach Jewelry, his family’s jewelry business, founded in Palm Beach in 1984. As a third-generation member of the business, he grew up around craftsmanship, design, client relationships, and fine jewelry often chosen to mark important moments and carry meaning over time.
This unique background shaped his appreciation for details and the stories behind what people collect. Today, that perspective carries into his work at Tella Fine Art and his interest in connecting new audiences with artists and works they may never have otherwise discovered.
